Warhammer skirmish/warbands

Hi Guys, as a matter of fact, i have never played WFB before, but still wanna try some day. I found the rules to warhammer skirmish and warhammen warbands to play some small but exciting battles in WFB. Do you play games using these rules ?
I am asking, coz i don`t have time to paint big 2K points army to WFB but with skimrmish/warbands rules i could try to prepare little army and play fantasy

From this link u can download the warbands rules. If anybody is interested to play warbands campaing (as it is in these rules from link) i would be very happy. The warbands is the point that i want to start WFB playing. i ve got my reasons:)

La verdad es que nunca hemos jugado con esas reglas, que yo recuerde. En mi opinión, la mejor manera de "introducirte" en el Warhammer Fantasy es jugar Mordheim, una campaña sería lo ideal. Eso suele ser suficiente para "meterte el gusanillo".

The problem is that Mordheim has different game mechanics, ad the warbands rules just restrict the army list but all of WFB rules apply as normal

Son diferentes pero coges la idea. No esta mal esto del warbands pero yo me quedo con el trasfondo de Mordheim. Despues de todo van a ser pocos puntos y muchas de las reglas de fantasy van a quedar un poco en el aire porque algunos ejercitos llevaran pocas miniaturas, pero bueno, es un juego mas, que suena interesante.
